I already own a standard Dremel tool. Is there a good adapter/bit that I can use for this project? Or are you suggesting I look into this new Dremel tool?
Thank you.

Re: Anti-freeze hose bib
Ok, so I will use the new one I just bought then. Unless you think I didn't get one long enough. Home Depot had others to choose from, some which were 10 inches or longer. How does one know how deep into the home it should go to be effective in cold winters?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Cutting out rotten floor close to the wall
I have some water damage on the floor that will need to be cut out and replaced. Is there a specific tool you experts recommend that will allow me to cut as close to the wall as possible? Maybe a certain router bit made for a Dremel?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Anti-freeze hose bib
I bought an anti-freeze hose bib recently. When I took off the old one, the second one in the photo below, the thought came to me that maybe the one I already had was anti-freeze. I say this because the one I already had was made of plastic, not metal. Is this true? Or should I replace the original ...

Re: Best heat reflective paint for metal roofs
Home Depot didn't have Koolseal, so I bought five gallons of Henry's Solarflex White Roof Coating. Think this will be good enough for Utah's hot desert sun? Thank! http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100051140?productId=100051140&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&ci_sku=100051140&...

The shade of white used in roof paint
I need to apply Koolseal or some other product to my rolled metal roof. Then I need to paint the white wood trim shown in the photo below. Then I need to add a white seamless aluminum rain gutter. I'm trying to figure out how to do this so I don't get three different shades of white. Should I just s...

Various types of rain gutters
I'm thinking of hiring a company to come out and put rain gutters up that are seamless. What do most of you install, seamless or the vinyl segments that snap together?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Removing exterior wood pressed panels
What about this special MDF screw? This may be a good thing to fasten exterior trim in places that do not have a stud behind them.
I found it on this website:

Thoughts?

Ok experts, what product do you recommend for applying to a rolled metal roof to reflect heat from the sun?

Re: Questions about using primer
My house is currently a gray color, but I want to paint it a light green that will match the surrounding sage brush. So I should use white primer, and then add my light green on top. Right? Just want to make sure I'm not needing to add any tint to my white primer paint bucket.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Sloppy metal roof with itty-bitty rain gutter
If I'm understanding you correctly, and I install rain gutters right underneath the j-channel, then I shouldn't have to worry about the black roof caulk that is clogging up the j-channel. Right? Because now the rain gutter will be handling the water. Also, is a rolled roof supportive enough for me t...

Re: Removing exterior wood pressed panels
Here is some of the panel damage. The thought came to me last night that maybe I can just use some patching compound instead of removing the panels and putting new ones up. Thoughts on this?
