corners

Still working on corners....quick question. I ran out of metal bead strips and have two corners left to finish....(outside corners). Both look clean, the sheetrock is tight, where it joins. Can I just mudd over the corner, without the metal bead?? I have tape, and was trying to avoid another trip to Home Depot if I can.
Yes you can. BUT the problem you may have is that the metal protects the corner from damage when it gets hit, Stop and think how many times you bump into corners just walking by let alone hitting them with things. Your call.
