Somewhere in the old threads there is a product posted for getting those yellow stains out of the tub and the sink. I can't find the thread again.

I've tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, scouring powder, vinegar, and willing it away.

If I remember correctly Yanita knew of something which works.

Can someone help? Thank you!

Good morning Serena,

It is something Purple. LOL, Purple is actually part of the name. It is in the car cleaning/care section in Wal Mart. Not a product that I have tried but I believe it was Koi that had the solution.

Two things have worked for me. If it is rust, either Naval jelly or CLR (naval jelly is pink/purple). the other is toilet bowl cleaner. Greg

Super Clean in automotive section of Walmart. Big purple bottle of cleaner-degreaser, about $6. Doesn't have terrible odor of some products. Still takes elbow grease and a scotchbrite pad, but removed 8-year old rust stains from our tub. I used full strength. Post is January 25 in decorating forum. Hope it works for you. I found the product on Thriftyfun.com.
