I would like to hear your thoughts on the initial cost of E.I. vs. the operating and propane cost over time. In a lake house used mainly on weekends in east Texas. I need to replace a furnace and initial cost is 375.00$ difference. Thanks

That's something you'll have to figure yourself from knowing the area and the values there .

Get operating cost from local suppliers and figure it up and compare. You can also get consultations from HVAC contractors in area.

Costs rise and fall and there is no way for me to figure that accurately from here.

For w/e's only I would go with E.I. to keep from having a pilot lit while away.

Thanks,
Robert
