Is it more energy efficient to close or partially close the floor vents in rooms when they are not in use? Thanks all, Larry

No, in a MH especially, leave all registers open completely.

Closing, even partially, changes static pressures in ductwork and in a MH, can damage unit.

Also, walls are thin with little to no insulation in a MH. Warm air in a used and heated room will migrate through the walls to the colder unused rooms.

Hot flows to Cold at all times., keeping rooms even in temps helps balance home temp.

Thanks,
Robert
