I would like to get a fireplace installed in a 1994 doublewide, is that possible? Would it be real expensive?

Anything's possible. All depends on the type of fireplace (gas or wood) and the location of it in your home. Might want to call your HO insurance company and see how it might affect your rate.

Gas fireplaces come in different types (vent-free, b-vent or direct vent). Vent-free would be the simplest installation as there are no large vent pipes to worry about, therefore no big holes in the wall or roof; all that's req'd is a gas line run to it.

Wood, of course, requires venting and clearance issues. And Mess.

Weight of the fireplace you choose will also be a factor.
