Right off the bat, let me say, I am a 50 year old woman who knows nothing about furnaces.
Here is the situation:
Yeasterday, my furnace worked fine, lots of heat, no problems.
I left my house in the morning, and as usual I turned my therastat all the way to the lowest point.
Last night when I got home, I slid the thermostat controller thing to 75. Nothing happened.
So far, all I have done is go through my breaker box, and reset all the switches (flipped them off, then back on) Nothing.
I can "hear" like some electricity getting to the furnace if that makes sence?
My thermostat is a Coleman 025-35367-000, type 1C26-18, REV.D (thats what the sticker on the inside of the thermostat says).
When I flip one of the lower switches to "ventilation ON', the furnace comes on, but there is no heat, just cool air.
I have my thermostat set at: HEAT, and the ventilation is set to AUTO.
I have a Coleman model #EB15B, electric furnace.
Can someone point me in the right direction as to what might be going on with this furnace?
Please help me! Thanks
