The furnace will turn on but not ignite to make the blower motor work. My husband checked connections and moved the red wire that goes to the igniter and then it started. It seems to be working ok now but wish to know if something may need to be replaced.

Could be a bad wire or loose connection. Inspect carefully whatever wire and connections he moved.
