What are my options on repairing the sections of ductwork that connect the floor vents to the main trunk line? i have the aluminum duct, not flex. I'm tired of losing so much of my heated, or cooled air to the the outside. Thanks in advance!

Hi Casey,

Are you in a single, double or triple ?

Are the registers over the trunkline or away from it ?

Thanks,
Robert

sorry, i should have given more info. anyway, i'm in single wide where all the floor vents are inline with, and come straight up from the main trunk line.

Hi Casey,

Get some aluminum flashing and attach to whats there with sheet metal screws.

This should cover any gaps/holes where it has come loose or opened.

Then cover all seams with foil backed tape.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
