Do I need a special stove/range for an older mobile home?

If I buy one from about 1974 is it most likely hooked up with 220V or do I need a special stove/range/oven?

I can't speak specifically on a 1974, but we replaced our electric range (220V) in our 2001 last year with no issues. The concerns for us that we checked before purchasing the new range/oven was amperage of the existing 220V, physical width/size of unit, and of course looks.

Good luck!

Thanks, I hope it does, but if it doesn't I will just get a convection oven and an electrical hot plate or double and an induction burner hotplate.

I was able to check it and it does have the 220 plug or whatever is standard for an electric range. :)
