Coat or not to coat????

Hi to all !!
We just purchased a 2000 mobile home with metal roof. 14x70 with a peaked roof.
There is no coating or anything just the bare metal.
Would it do any good to coat it with anything? It's in good shape with no patches or holes.
I thought a little preventive maintenance !!!

If it is showing no sign of wear or rust I think I would leave it alone. On the other hand, a fresh coat of white coating may help reflect the sun and keep it a little cooler.
