I have a Bradford White PHCC 50 Gal electric 240V/AC water heater. Model number is M250s6Ds2 Serial# AH5084068.
Yesterday we lost all power to the casa. Ever since it came back on we have had no hot water. I thought ok maybe it tripped the breaker but to much avail the breaker was fine. I looked through the "closet" it is in and saw nothing out of the ordinary no leaks no bulges etc...eletrical hook ups and h2o lines seemed fine.
IS there something I check to see if it is the unit or is there replacement parts for these things? I am a computer nerd by trade so I am out of my normal element and have no clue where to start. I am very mechanically incline and can fix about anything if I get off on the right foot.
OTHER INFO:
Upper Element 4500
Lower Element 4500
Uses 4773 KWH/Per Year
Test is 300psi Working is 150psi
Someone please help me out...
Did my Water Heater die?

There may be a breaker on the water heater. Sometimes it is behind the insulation near the controls.
There should be a breaker under the cover.
First SHUT OFF THE POWER. Remove the covers, under the insulation there should be a circuit breaker, red button, just push it to reset. Greg

If that don't work... Sometimes the Thermostat or the Heater coil go out.
It probably costs less than $30 to replace them both.
I always replace both at the same time since the whole unit will be down anyway.
Turn off power to the water heater then Test the connections with a voltage reader.
Drain the Water Heater.
Remove the Thermostat and the Heater Probes.
Take those parts to the Hardware store when you go to buy new parts.
Be sure to refill the water heater before you turn the power back on.
