I have yr 2000 SW Clayton. I have the original metal roof. I want to replace it to improve the appearance of my mh. What is economical and durable? Thanks, Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,

Does your roof currently have overhangs? If not, that would be an excellent way to improve the looks and function of your roof. Over hangs can solve most edge leak problems.

The most economical way to install overhangs might be the metal roof described in Mark's Mobile Home Repair Manual, which is available from the Books & Parts link above. There is also a section on how to build the overhang for that roof in the manual.
