Hello all, I have recently inherited a 1977 24X56 Double wide. I would like to know if I could raise the wall height from 7 feet to 8? It is in terrible shape as is. If I removed the old roof and rotten trusses, would it start warping or could I do it in sections?
I don't think the extra foot of wall would add that much extra weight, you can always add parameter blocking to support the extra weight.
I would do a complete inspection before doing any work and figure all costs, you may find that it is not worth the project cost.

"If I can't fix it, I can screw it up so bad no one else can either."
