Is there such a thing as a linked switch for a bathroom fan that trips on like breaker when the house thermostat is switch to the fan mode? I have this switch and haven't torn into it, I was noticing the other day the fan was on in the bathroom. I went to shut it of, and the switch just kept tripping back on?

Any I need to replace that dacore style switch. Anyone heard of this?

Thank you.

Sounds like a bad switch. I would replace the switch and see if it still "trips".

Are you sure that you're not dealing with a humidistat fan override? My home has a switch, but if the humidity gets high, it brings the fan on. I have mine disconnected since the humidistat is no longer good, but I discovered as the 120 volts was coursing through my body, that the switch is not the only thing that can bring the fan on.

Look up above the fan blade in the fan tunnel and see if there is a little metal box mounted to the side besides the one where the wires but together.
