We know quite a few people in our area (northern Michigan) who heat their houses and hot water with an outside wood-burning furnace, and are more than satisfied with the results. Is this an option for manufactured housing?
Thank you.
Outside Wood-Burning Furnace?
For outside heating units like those, it really would not make any difference if it were a mobile or stick built. The problem that may come into play is if it is a hot water heat system you would need to run base board registers and the plumbing loop.
Many communities here are banning the use of new units, so you may want to check your regulations first.
