Furnace size
I need to replace the 15KW Coleman electric furnace in my 1975 vintage 66x14 singlewide located in the Seattle area. An electrician (not a HVAC guy) has opined that my current unit (approx 51,000 BTU) is way too big and that a unit of about 30,000 - 35,000 BTU would probably be adequate. I guess that would translate into a 12KW or 10KW furnace. My trailer is in good repair with storm windows, but probably not more than R-10 insulation. Thanks for any comments!
