mobile home a/c heat system
can anyone give me a quick lesson in mobile home a/c heat systems. it is all eletric with a condenser outside and coil inside the laundry room. can anyone breifly explain how it works. if i called someone to work on the unit in the laundry room, what would this component be called? thanks
Hi,
Inside home is the furnace for heat. Then there is also your a/c evaporator A-Coil.
IF you have an electric furnace, the a-coil sits above the furnace.
If gas, natural gas or propane/lp, the a-coil is beneath the furnace.
Outside is the a/c condensing unit with compressor, condenser fan motor and contactor to energize them.
With condensing unit outside and a-coil inside, you have a split system for a/c .
What is it doing or not doing ?
What is the furnace model number found on a data sticker on furnace facing, usually lower to mid section.
Thanks,
Robert
