I have a Coleman EB17B and a Gibson GS3BA0048KA Units. Do I have a heat pump outside or is it just used for AC. I have 100 degrees coming out of my registers with the heat turned on. Temp inside was 65 when I turned heat on and it ran for one hour and turned off at 70. I used 9kw of electricity more than normal with the heat off. Is this normal. My motor wheel in the unit has a crust of dirt about 1/16 to 1/8 inch on it. Could it be that I am not pushing enough air? During the summer when cooling and winter heating we have a high electricity bill. We live in Monticello, MS. 39654 and the temp in winter is not exceptional cold.

Sounds like your equipment needs a professional service. The cost of the service will be saved on your utility bill.
God, grant me the serenity

the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
