I have Coleman Evcon model DGAT056BDD. This fall I turned it on and nothing happened. The light on the board was flashing 3 times. I replaced the igniter being careful not to touch the glow part of it. The inducer motor hums, is this normal or should I hear it spin. When I replaced the igniter the light went solid. Everything seems normal except the burner is lighted. Also, the fresh air unit on the roof went bad 3 years ago. Could not find parts so I just turned the alarm off and took the motor down. The furnace ran without it.

Add>> I think the fresh air thing is called blend air II ???
Add>> AC works fine

I figured this out, inducer motor was stuck. Even though I got no replies thanks anyway.

Hi,

Sorry I just saw this, glad you figured it out.

The HVAC forums are not manned at all times. We check them as often as possible during day and I usually answer any unanswered questions when I get in at night.

Here are some articles that may help in future:

The furnace does run without the Blend Air, but the condensation and moisture does not exit your small attic area under the roof without it.

As that builds, mildew and mold can form, so it is something that should be kept.

Will post back in a minute with link to our parts page for the Blend Air:

Was the IDM just stuck ?
