Digital antenna

Hi Group. Does anybody know of an online source with many digital outdoor antennae, listed with pics and price? From the biggest and best to mid quality? Remote rotors too? I live basically on a ridge but down in a depression with trees and buildings, for the most part, all around. An elevated outdoor ...

schemefighter; Awesome vid! Some on the news initially said there was no "skipping",looks to be true. It is so cool the jet held the wings Greg; Yep,thats kind of how it sounded to Me too,,I didn't hear the word "rookie". They said the main pilot had fighter jet experience too,ba...

"1/3"? Thats a plus.

I did see some mention of the top of the wing being slippery cause of the fuel. It ain't good but I spose the Hudson has seen worse in the last 100 years.

Hudson jet crash

I'm glad All were rescued, amazing :!: I have seen little concerning the jet fuel, what I did see I had to search the net for. I'll guess the fuel will be credited for part(at least) of the floatation as it is lighter than water. I'll also guess that, any second now, there will be a "big flap"...

:D Too true Greg. Maybe there should be a line on the old Mason Dixon straight across to the western slopes of the Sierra Nevadas, then north. Naaaa, never work would it?! I just did some snow load googling, the pdf files seem to say it is a very local thing. Looks to Me it would be costly,to say the l...

On the map on My data plate(actually its a sheet of paper)it shows the northern zones similar, but not the same. The one You posted is roof load tho and I think the one in My furnace closet shows more generalized "North" "Middle" and "Hurricane" zones. It mentions both w...

I've got little to do again today so I'll visit this topic a little more :) Its interesting. Is it possible nwwoman's home was built for a no-snowload zone? My data plate says "North" and shows a map of the zones as they were when it was printed-1976. Has the USA zone map changed over the ...

Hmmmm,I will guess then, that the sag in the ceiling should be mirrored in the roof line, assuming the home is relatvely flat/levelled at floor height,,that is,,(2nd >)unless only the bottom board of the truss could have sagged but the top/crown kept it's shape. Is that 2nd scenario very likely when s...

JD, I have only fixed a few of these type of cieling panel edges over the years, usually only a few feet of sagging edge,so,I guess I assumed they were 16" wide, with a joint under each plastic strip. I just looked under two strips next to each other and, dangitall,Yer right on the money! Since I ...

The 1" wide plastic strips will come out without too much trouble once You get the knack.Just squeeze them starting on an end, very soon You will see they slip out of thin channels built into the panels. When that is done You will see the staples,,,or the broken edges of panels where staples were...

This sounds like a much larger area than I had thought. The next time I see the word "deflection" I'm gonna do like shadow745 and ask to see a pic. :) My bad,as they say. My place is the same width and has the LR open to the Kit,no big deflections. I have had it for about 6 years and never ...

Well,if it is a truss that failed somehow, that ain't good! :) And could indeed be dangerous. I'm gonna guess it is the cieling panels that loosened from the truss,,,,but,,,that's just a guess. Has gently pushing up on the panel/s been tried? If it is the 16" wide,pressed-paper, panels that have...

Thanks for leaving it however long You do choose to leave it here where it is most apt to be seen. I could be off on My assumption too, maybe folks check the other sections, like "off topic","HVAC" and "alternative energy" more often than I think/do,and,would see it anywa...

I realize this isn't a repair post but just so folks don't think I'm trying some silly "trollish" trick I thought to notify any that may care on the most popular/used section,or what I think is the most used anyway. Thanks JD,deleting and re-doing My MHR ID worked like a charm,no more pop-...
