Re: Moving an electrical outlet

Oh I'm sorry I didn't know the limits. I realize you can't just splice into the wall. My concern was that I thought bathrooms were supposed to be 12/2 wire with a 20 amp GFCI. I was surprised to see the wire and GFCI that I mentioned earlier.

Moving an electrical outlet

I am going to move an electrical outlet in a 1987 Victorian Mobile Home. I believe the current outlet is a 15amp GFCI with 14/2 wiring. Was this the norm for wiring back then?

Re: FRP and molding

Thanks Ponch. I'd like to ask you some questions, believe me I REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP! Working with FRP,after you put the "glue" on the wall and put your piece up, how do you keep it from falling back down? Do I need to use the rivets ? I was thinking that if i do, maybe I can put the ...

Re: FRP and molding

I am not using a tub surround. I am using FRP wall panels. Greg I thought I had to butt the bottom of the panel to the top lip of the flange and then cover the butted ends with some type of plastic molding so it would hide the butted joint and the screws because the screws are not flush. Am I explai...

FRP and molding

I'm going to hang FRP Panels on the wall but need some ideas for trim to cover where the FRP and garden tub flange meet. Also, I need to draw the wall closer to the flange in one area. How do you drill into fiberglass without cracking or splitting it? Thanks for any help.

Re: Metal Roof Leaks

I'm not sure where the leak is coming from but today I took a couple more ceiling tiles down and stuck my hand up there and felt wetness on the edge of the old ceiling. So I am going to have to put some roof coating around the most important part of the roof, the edge that curls over. The J-track yo...

Metal Roof Leaks

We have a used 1987 Victorian Single Wide Mobile Home. The master bathroom ceiling has a new ceiling over the orignal. It was like that when we bought it. We had a water leak 2 years ago and recoated the roof with fiberglass cement. The guy at Lowe's recommended a rubber squeegie applicator which wa...

Re: Garden Tub

The drain line is in the wall that is on the right of the vanity next to the toilet. The wall I want to take down is on the left of the vanity. Thanks for your input.

Re: Garden Tub

When I say half walls I mean it doesn't go across the whole room. The walls are actually used as the sides of the vanity. I'm not too good at explaining things.
