RE: metal skirting

One thing you want to remember to do is keep checking the height of your home, the panels come in different lenghts. you want to buy the lenght that gives you the least amount of wasted metal. So if you are just under 3' or 4' tall buy a 12' panel. 2 1/2' a 10' etc. Greg

RE: Tub/Shower faucet

Well, the GOOD news is that since the backs up into a closet you dont have to be too fusy about what the access panel looks like, the bad news is that an access panel is the only way you can get to the back of the faucet. Greg

Hi & welcome to the family. First let me congratulate you on your question, many people do not even think about the added weight. Since it is a newer home I would assume it has at least 2x6 outer walls, that said, the should support the added weight. I would do a permiter blocking under the rim ...

RE: How do I remove stuck screws?

A small copper tubing should work on plastic with no problem. The only minor problem you MAY have is the cutter wheel slightly folding the end of the tube closed, a screw driver or punch will open it back up with no problem. Greg

I am a big fan of citrus based cleaners I buy it in industrial strength. Depending on how you mix it you can take paint off or wash your hands with it. Greg

Check some of the dealers in your area that take older homes in trade and tear them down, they may have something that will work. Greg

RE: repair or replace ceiling exhaust fan

Brenda, It will be quicker and possibly cheaper to replace the whole unit. As for fan size, they are rated by CFM (cubic feet per minuet) the more cfm the quicker the air will move. Lets say you have a 10x10x 7 room, that is 700 cubic feet, if you have a 700 cfm fan it will change the air in the roo...

It sounds to me like you have a major hard water problem. You may just want to cut the pipes if you can not break them loose you may end up cutting and replumbing that section. Greg

RE: Looking for spec sheets and such

Erick, it is not impossible to find the prints, but I will say it is difficult at best. For some reason, weather it is the anount of optional layouts or just the fact they don't want the info out there or even don't have it any more. Many people have tried with very limited success. Your best bet ma...
