Re: 1996-ish Intertherm Outside AC Unit won't Force Air
Bill, I was having the unit serviced (intertherm package AC...1996?) and compressor locked up. The data label could not be read because it was merely a faded, sun-drenched sticker on the outside of the unit. In the process of getting bids for a new package AC, one gray-beard got a number off of the ...

1996-ish Intertherm Outside AC Unit won't Force Air

You are correct JD. What is the best way to close that up? I tried some 100% silicone.

My Trailer Overhaul is Complete; 6+ mos.
All, I've finally finished the complete remodel of one of my mobile homes. I've learned so much in this process that I'm willing to share with this forum; just ask questions. Would I do it again? Yes. Did I spend more than I wanted to? Yes, quite a bit more. Do I have that awesome feeling of satisfa...

Re: Help with Bath Fan Ceiling Installation
A buddy and myself installed a Panasonic Whisper Ceiling Bathroom Fan FV-11VQ5 in each bathroom ceiling and vented through the roof. The total for both was $265.70. These are extremely quiet and pull LOTS of air. Outstanding investment on my part. 1. Cut out bathroom ceiling area of about 2' x 4' to...

Help with Bath Fan Ceiling Installation
I've asked this question before but would like to ask it again, as I'm now more certain of what I'm up against. Also, let me preface this post with "wall mounted fans are not a viable option." I need to install a ceiling bath fan in each bathroom. The reason I'm selecting a fan-only model ...

ponch37300, I spoke with local plumbers at the supply house and they said that it's perfectly fine for electric water heaters and they practiced this method.

More Pics; I'm Putting Her Back Together; Finally
I have been so busy at work and on the weekends remodeling the trailer that I've had no time to post pictures...until now. I'm getting close to the home stretch. Enjoy the pics!

Greg is spot-on. Spend $500-$600 on PEX, buy a book on plumbing and do it yourself.

Re: Proximity of Return Air Grill to Damper
flcruising, My AC unit got hooked up this morning. I guess it is referred to as a split system. The furnace has a blower that sends air down the trunk line. The AC unit also has a blower that sends air down the trunk line. When the AC unit is off, yet the furnace is on, the damper in the main trunk ...
