Re: Masonite siding

Hi, My personal thoughts on T1-11 is it is junk for long term exterior use. Yup, cheap to start with, but one of those you get what you pay for. Save your money and buy the best quality siding you can afford. You will save yourself money in the long term. I am not sure which brand of vinyl is on my ...

Plus tile thickness. Remember if your doors have a 2 inch gap from the floor to the bottom of the door this use used as a cold air return for your furnace/AC unit. Do not restrict this area.

Re: Showers and tile

Correct, tile for showers, it is not recommended... On a side note note I own a residential cleaning business and I see many that are in stick built homes that always seem to leak from day one. Just giving you a heads. As the homeowner the choice is always yours. In the above post you mention adding...

Re: Waterless Cooking - Buffalo Wings

Aluminum, mine are surgical stainless steel, double walled. I guess we have different sets, but the cooking process is the same. I must admit I don't completely cook with them as they are intended. If you are burning veggies then your heat is to high at the begining of the cooking process.

Re: ventalation in newmobile home

Hi, Do yourself and your home a favor by installing a moisture barrior on the ground before you install the siding. The barrior is nothing more than 6 mil plastic laid on the ground going end to end, side to side under your home. Make sure the seams over lap at least 6 inches. We also tuck taped our...
