we just replaced it with a cheap plastic strainer type. It tends to clog easily with hair...and we also bathe the dogs in that tub which produces a lot fur & clogs. So hopefully this helps with the clogs

I didn't even think to try to twist it! So simple. lol I was just able to get it off with a pair of pliers. Thank you so much for your help!

There is a cross bar about an 1 1/2 inches down, then the shaft. I don't feel anything below the cross bar indicating the shaft continues down. removing a lift & turn stopper assembly in the tub
We have a lift & turn bathtub stopper, and want to completely remove the stopper and the shaft that goes in the tub. We will be replacing it with just a basic rubber net/filter to help catch hair, etc. We got the actual stopper out, but can't figure out how to get the shaft out... any ideas? Tha...

well I guess when they were sticking things up in the hole trying to locate the joists, they found some, BUT they don't touch the ceiling.. ? not sure how thats possible..but thats what they found.... i'm curious how the ceiling is being held on.. lol

The hooks that you are referring to are the 'hercules hooks' and I actually use a couple of those. But they aren't useful for everything. And just screwing into the studs dont help either for some things, especially when wanting to hang decorative items. I'm not sure what type of anchors we are usin...

Hello! I have a question regarding hanging items on the wall board stuff. Since it is thinner than regular drywall/sheetrock. What type of wall anchors can you use to have heavier items? We've used regular drywall anchors with screws, but since the walls are so thin, they dont hold well.. any ideas?...
