Selling MH suggestions
I was wondering if any of you had ever used the online sites that are around to list your MH for sale. I was looking for tips and found several. We found a builder who had stopped working on several homes when the market got slow so he was wanting to sell plus the home was not finished inside & ...

Trim Around Inside Doors
We are putting our 2005 Caviler on the up for sale and we need to repair/replace the trim around a few of the inside doors thanks to my cat. It looks like the crown molding type stuff but it is covered in thin white paper instead of being painted. Is this something I could get through a mobile home ...

RE: Just Need to Vent MH & jerk related
That is very true I had not thought of it like that, if I could find some where the person selling was not going to be your neighbor. We are not in a great situation right now and I wouldn't want to start off on the wrong foot in a place I was going to be at a long time. I guess it just shocked me b...

Just Need to Vent MH & jerk related
I'm so frustrated. I have mentioned in other post that we are trying to find land to buy to move this home to. I'm just so tired of people being willing to talk to us about selling a couple of acres of land till they find out we want to put a MH on it. I feel like I have the plague or something! I'm...

Wheelchair accesible MH
I was wondering if any of you knew of companies that make wheelchair accessible homes? The company we bought this one from did some door changes etc but I'm thinking more along the lines of roll in showers etc. I recall seeing one on a lot when we lived in GA ten years ago, but I am having no luck f...

RE: How important is landscaping when trying to sell a home?
We have spent much of the past year house hunting and at least for us I would say it was not a selling point. As long as it did not look like maintains had been put off on the home I could handle it looking bare. If your listing your home on like the MLS or other website having a nice neat front wil...

RE: Other great MH resources.
Thanks for the posts ,advice and pics. I tried out rate my space,,,great pics but you were not kidding about it being slow! They really need to work on that! If we ever get this place moved to our own land where we can landscape I will be sure to post a picture. I would love to find a place that had...

Thanks for reminder about the cars, most things in the house reset on their own thankfully. The assisted living home just called having fits trying to get my mother in law to go to bed...she doesn't care what the clock says it is not time for her to lay down yet. I hate to tell them but they are not...

Thanks, I wasn't looking for another place- hope it did not come across in that manner. This site is great, I was just looking for more photos of homes for inspiration. If we ever find any land to move our home to we want to make it look like it belongs, rather the DW in field look we have right now...

Other great MH resources.
I found this site as a link on some other message board and I have enjoyed reading old posts and have learned a great deal. I love home and garden things but it is rare to find things that apply to MH. It is so nice to see the opposite view of the people who look down on those of us who live in MH. ...

RE: Relocating a Doublewide
Thanks for the reply. I am in MS and will be moving as far away as 60 miles. I still have not found any land so I am just looking at the price right now. The price list was helpful. Thanks again
P.S... What is an impact fee?

Relocating a Doublewide
I'm trying to find some land to relocate my doublewide home to. Easier said than done unless I want to buy 14 ac. It is a four year old caviler home. I have seen someone move a singlewide but with a doublewide do you have to move everything out of it appliances and such?. The person that move...
