window air unit

I need to buy and install 2 window air units for my doublewide (1600 sq ft). Can anyone tell me if this is difficult, do I need special wiring, etc? Thanks for any and all help. I want to do this before it gets too hot.

Depends on whether you are installing in a window or through a wall.


Also, whether you are getting 120vac units or 240vac units.

Manufactured home windows are not very sturdy if they are aluminum and need to be carefull about bracing correctly.
