RE: Lowering manufactured home

All, Thanks for the input and the questions! I am not sure how things moved or changed. I am now thinking that it was not leveled properly in the beginning and now the slab under the home has cracked or settled and has moved things slightly. I will get some pictures of the cracks in the house and be...

Lowering manufactured home

I purchased the home leveling kit with instructions and put together my water level and followed the instructions and found out that my home is one inch high by the attached garage. How do I lower it? The instructions did not clearly define lowering it. I am seeing cracks on that end of the home whe...

RE: Splitting of the house

Thanks for the advice on the home. My home has been here for just over 10 years without a leveling and it is on a full slab of cement with blocking. I will check below and above as stated.

Splitting of the house

I have noticed that my marriage line is beginning to split/crack on my home straight across from my garage. This is a bit concerning, what should be done to correct this? I have noticed that the garage is splitting from the home also. I was going to fill it in with caulking but thought I would ask t...

RE: Clicking noise control board

Robert, I will go off of what you suggest with 7990-319P. But i do have the other board in right now because I was told that is the newer model for my unit. And it has worked just fine until now. this is the link to the one I have http://www.mobilehomerepair.com/media/img/coleman/7990-320P.jpg I act...

RE: Clicking noise control board

Robert, I could not locate the P/N on the board but I know for a fact that I purchased this board through mobile home repair last Nov/Dec. I just noticed that some signs of water have shown up on the board where the last board had problems also. This may be the root cause. I might have a bigger prob...

RE: Clicking noise control board

Thanks for the info. FYI... I just replaced this board last Nov/Dec so it is only 9-10 months old.

Who would be qualified to test this board locally? Could I run a test with a volt meter?

What would cause the relay to burn up or work incorrectly?

Thanks again and again!

Clicking noise control board

Can anyone tell me what the problem is when a continuous clicking noise comes from the control board of my coleman heating/cooling furnace? It is a model DGAT090BDD. The green light stays lite when I don't turn on the fan but once I turn the fan on it begins flashing and clicking, in both the heatin...

RE: Installing wood stove in Manufactured home

Again thanks for the info. I did call my insurance agent and he checked with his underwriter and they said if it isn't the primary heat source (my coleman furnace is if it doesn't break down again). All I have to do is call him when it is installed and he will make the note on my policy. But now the...

RE: Installing wood stove in Manufactured home

Thank you again to everyone! All this info has made me think about more information of this stove (I already bought) and my home (2000 SF). This stove was purchased from a private party who didn't have any info on it. It doesn't have any markings or lables showing a model or brand of the stove. It a...

RE: Installing wood stove in Manufactured home

OKAY I am so new at this I don't know the difference between floor joists and Cross overs. I do have a double wide manufactured home. when i go in the crawl space all I see are two long steel beams (on each half of the home) that span the length of the home and a black plastic covering everything (i...

RE: Installing wood stove in Manufactured home

Thanks for the replies! If I was to install supports under the joists how would I go about that with the Heater ducts in the way and all that insulation? Do you just cut it out, do your work and patch it back together?

Installing wood stove in Manufactured home

I am wanting to replace my Zero clearance fire place (that came with my home) with a wood burning stove but I am concerned about the load on the floor joists and how close I can place this stove if I use cement backer board and tile. Any one know of a site where I can verify what is needed to comple...
