Found some vinyl trim, but hubby failed the trim cutting, so I just had him paint the old trim white and put that up. Rather than waste the trim, we are using it where the floor meets the wall, he isn't going to have to worry about corners. And I think we're going to have to buy some scrap sometime ...

Still looking for the molding, I don't want that plain thin stuff, looking for maybe 2 inches wide, but not too fancy, and no wider.

Far from done, we still have to finish up the walls and purchase the molding, but the vinyl beadboard worked out pretty good. ceiling01.jpg I'd like to replace that light too, but this was an unexpected repair, so that will have to wait. It went up Monday afternoon, that's how he did it Housemedic. I need to pick up the stuff to patch the little nail holes this weekend. Vinyl Beadboard

Has anybody tried the vinyl beadboard planks? I see Home Depot carries them. We are planning on using these for our bathroom ceiling. Hubby just took down the old ceiling (water damaged). He put up some plywood today. So next weekend, we want to get the planks up. I'm thinking, white vinyl, no paint...

Our first winter here, the oil went from 3.79 in October 4.40 this month. We had one plumber visit for frozen pipe leading to hot water heater and the filter for the oil froze and we had no heat one night.
