We want to get rid of our split system and have a single unit that sits outside and provides both heat and air.
What is the most cost effective way to do this? I read the "How to add A/C to your mobile home" article, but I'm a little confused about furnaces and heat pumps and air handlers.
We would like to spend around $2500 or less, but can go up to $4000 if that is the cheapest way to get a single unit like what I'm describing.
We're located in Spartanburg, SC if it makes a difference.
Thanks!
Best Heat/AC option for us?
