I have a Coleman Presidential II Furnace in a mobile home. As I was sleeping last night, it sounded like an alarm was sounding. A very distinct buzzing that was loud enough to wake me from across the trailer. The furnace had been set on "Manual" mode ( a little switch on the bottom of the front panel) prior to the alarm sounding.
I also noticed that the furnace would cycle, begin blowing air, the buzzer would sound, then it would cycle and shut off. It would then continue repeating the process until I switch it to the standby mode. This furnace is a dual use, electric/gas thats set up for off peak heating.
What does the "standby mode" indicate vs the "manual mode?"
Do any of you know what the buzzer may indicate?
Thanks in advance. Its cold in MN!
