We bought a double wide in 2007 with a Coleman DGAA070BDTB / W0L6997313 FURNACE. FROM THE START IT JUST HAS NEVER WORKED WELL. We had the preassure switch replaced within days of owning the home. Then again about a year ago, after $500.00 to finally have it diagnossed properly. Tonight the circuit board started to melt. It was hot enough to turn other componets black, and smoke and completely melt the one componet. Is there a recall on this particular model? Is there anything i can do to have it fixed. Had a neighbors house burn down a couple of weeks ago to a faulty furnace. So this is realy scaring me, and it is supposed drop below zero the next few nights. Thank god for good ol wood stove!

Thanks, Jodi

Hi Jodi,

No recalls on that furnace. You will definitely need an hvac tech to thoroughly inspect and properly diagnose.

Find one who is reputable, but beware of last one. It should not ever cost $500 to diagnose a furnace problem.

Thanks,
Robert
