Blend Air Blowr intermittent noise

I have a 7681-8171 Deluxe Blend Air II Blower that is the original one in my 1991 home. It intermittently makes a whining noise. is this a repairable issue or replacement normally.

Depends on what is causing it. Sometimes it can be repaired and other times it has to be replaced.
