hello and thanks for this forum.
ive searched this forum, but didnt find exactly
an answer to my delimma.

i had to buy a new blower motor for my coleman furnace model
3400-815.
the new motor is 1468-120p rated 1/6 hp 230 volts and is 2 speed.
(im guessing the 2 speeds are 1050 rpm and 900 rpm)
and has 4 wires...2 black, 1 red, and one orange.

my problem is that the motor i am repacing
(3400-a123 which i believe was not original as my
parts list the motor as being a 3400-590)
has only 2 wires 1 black and 1 faded yellow.

this motor was a single speed, 1/8 hp, 230 volts with 810 rpm.

now my question is how to wire the new motor to the molex
to replace just 2 prior wires?

i hope you can understand and i would greatly appreciate
any help in this matter.

..and happy holidays.

Hi,

Red is 120vac low speed. Connect to black.

Orange is the neutral wire. Connect to faded yellow .

Thanks,
Robert
