Hi I hate snow and winter--we have not got to work since MLK week--DH took a weeks vacation--we worked a long week replacing the floor in daughters mh and her water lines and sewage lines--we will run water lines on the floor, and both mh had the furnaces removed so we removed the duct work--so cheep and full of holes--both mh floors were totally different one ran width wise, other ran lenght wise w metal supports--yes we tore out all the floor including the joices and replaced--most were cracked and repaired or dry rotted--plus for very little money we have all new and easier to work around and the spacing was odd so we did all on 16 oc and added supports---below is the photos I have had some ask for photos of our other remodels--this is a few--we both work full time jobs and do this in our free time--we buy and then rent out

Wow. If anyone can breath new life into those two mobiles you guys can! I love that your son helps so much. What do you guys do to relax? It looks like you never sit down! All this snow must be slowing things down.

Thanks --yes the snow is giving me bad cabin fever--so I plan and design lol oh and research--we have done some things I have wanted done at my house for a few years--the thing is it is so cold outside to cut lumber outside and our workshop was our winter project but too cold to work there lol we gutted it to make it a great workshop--could not get back to it due to our work and project schedule--so if we can not do our work we might insulate and fix up our workshop--my dh is on afternoons this week--which means we can not travel--the 3 hours to the MH's on Friday---plus it was my dh excuse for not building me somethings this weekend lol---really we do have off time and we relax at our weekend place--our son and daughter are very book smart but we want them to have many skills

99% of our insulation and belly was gone--one of the past owners took out the furnaces--we will run the plumbing above the floor --we put the equiv of 1/2 ply under and insulation, then 3/4 inch ply above--this keeps the animals and cold air out, plus made a very strong floor and the cost was low 7 a sheet --when we did this it was @10 degrees, even with gutted walls and open ceilings--it was hot in there with very little heat--it was on 1 and hardly kicked on--when we are done you should be able to heat it with a candle lol
