I was just curious if anyone has put underfloor heating under laminate in their MH. We ripped up the carpet in my daughers' room and have the laminate and regular underlayment ready to go but their room already gets so so so cold in the winter (frost on the walls cold when it's been below 0F for a few days).
Just looking at the Lowe's website, they have this product available at my local store. The subfloor is particle board (really small wood chips) that is in really good shape (solid and no water damage). Three of the walls are exterior walls.
What I want to know is, how energy efficient are they, are they safe to put over particle board, are they a fire hazard in a mobile home? Will it significantly help keep that room warm or will it just make it so that they won't be putting their bare feet on an icy floor?
