Hi Craig,

Does your a-coil have a txv metering device or a fixed type ?

One concern I would have either way is replacing an old 10 seer condenser with a new 13 seer and keeping the old a-coil.

Even if it has capabilities of working with a 13 seer, the difference in age between the two would make me replace both at same time.

That is best way to obtain optimum performance from the start.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert

Hi Craig,

You're very welcome, happy to help.

The only way it would work would be with a txv metering device.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
