Hello -
Great website, glad to have found you guys.

We have a Nordyne Unit E1EH - 015HA. The blower runs fine, but
the coil froze up the last time the ac was on. Now when we needed the heat , the blower worked, but the hot air does not come on. All breakers were on. Is this a broken thermostat ? The place was just painted, and it looks like it was damaged. Anybody know what type of t-stat to use ?
Also, where's the air filter supposed to be ?

Thanks-
Gimo

Could be a t-stat, sequencer or blower relay problem.

T-Stat would be a t-stat for electric heat and depending on how many wires are ran to it, either be a 2 wire or 4-5 wire.

The filter will either go behind the upper louvered door, slide in above A-Coil with a return grille in wall above the filter or two metal mesh filters laid across the A-Coil.

Thanks,
Robert
