Has anyone ever used a Glass Subway backsplash? Just wondering if the thinset will hold up if the house moves a little. Thanks

Just a thought - maybe if you used cement backer board, and did not secure it tightly to the wall studs, it might last. I'm not saying real loose, just so it is able to slide a little if it has to.

We have a short tile backsplash in our's. I just screwed 1/2" plywood up and glued tile up, the remodel was a few years ago and the home was moved last summer with no damage to the backsplash.

I just did a marble 2x3 subway tile with a glass accent row 4" tall along the whole kitchen wall. I cut out the drywall and then screwed hardi board on. Taped the seams and then used thinset to put the tiles on. It's been less then a year but I can tell you our house has moved a lot this winter due to the DEEP freeze we have had and there is no signs of cracking at all so far.
