So if one was going to replace all anchors, tie downs, pier sets on a 28x76 double wide what would the cost run? A mobile home mover company is quoting $1231 for just those items and i have no idea if that is a fair number or not. I am not doing this myself just wondering if that seems a high quote to anyone else. I am in houston, tx area if that matters.

Hi Betty,

I guess it depends on the type of system they are using and local code requirements. Here in California, for a standard set-up, We would need 68 piers/pads/lock-tops 16-20 anchor straps. I couldn't even buy the materials for $1300. I get them locally and we get a good price on them.
