Is a mobile home floor strong enough to do my Tae bo workout? It does have alot of jumping and kicking i was wondering if it would do damaged to my floor. I think my mobile is 30 yrs old and i weigh about 152lbs.

Unless you have any soft spots in the area you are in you should be fine. Greg

Hi sirbomb,

I pretty much have to agree with Greg. Only you know where there may be soft spots in your subfloor.

Well when my wife bounces on the floor i can feel the floor moves just a little when i'm standing next to her. Is that consider a soft spot or is that normal?

I'll put this as "politically correct" as possible. If you step down on an area and put your full weight on it and feel the floor move, that is a soft spot. this is usually due to water damage, likely areas are near windows, doors and in the bathroom.
You can make any floor shake if you jump around. Greg

LOL i meant to say when she jumps a little (like how a boxer jumps around the ring) i can feel the floor moves just a little bit. Is that normal for a floor to do that? Well a mobile home floor is not really solid ground.

Yes, that would be considered normal.

Most MH have partical board flooring, it has more flex to it than plywood.

The floor ain't the only thing that better be flexible for Tae Bo, LOL.

Should be ok, Tae Bo is more moving than jumping and kinda equivalent to kids running and playing inside.

Unless floor is damaged, shouldn't be any problem with it.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
