I am new to this website. I need some suggestions for buying a new ceiling fan. Its for my kitchen, as it tends to get rather hot while I am cooking. I have never bought one before, so could you tell me what I should be looking for when buying a fan? I need something affordable and it should not consume too much electricity. Thank you

Ive learned ceiling fans cool the hot ceiling pushing the hot air down to you.. Use a floor box fan.
