I was told to by 1/4 in. Plywood to put over particle board fllors. Now before i lay vinyl, do i seal the particle board floor before i lay the plywood and how to i install plywood over the part. Board? Nail, screw or glue. The plywood needs to be sealed i guess...what would i use?

Most of the pros that I know use a liquid leveling compound before installing vinyl.
