If you're in a snowy area, our cheapie metal shed's roof collapsed from the snow load.. Why I didn't clear it off earlier I have no idea.... :roll:

that advice doesnt just apply to cheapy shed roofs. it should apply to your homes roof as well to help prevent any ice build up at the edge and melting into your house

Yes it does, and did. :mrgreen: Just one tiny spot I almost didn't notice on the edge of the living room ceiling. I wasn't paying attention to the ice and snow on the roof until it warmed up a couple of days and it all came crashing off like a mini glacier. The cheapy shed came out unscathed.
