We are looking into buying a Palm Harbor and was wondering what R factor insulation would be good. It comes with R11 in the walls and R21 in the ceiling. My thought us this is not enough for Texas heat. Should we go with an upgraded insulation package.
Any help is appreciated.

If you are buying a new home, by all means upgrade the insulation package. It can only pay for its self. Look at upgrading windows & doors also.
