Hi. I have an old coleman oil furnace, I'm not sure of the model #. Just bought the trailer its in, and just ran out of heating oil. The furnace was working well until this point. Got more fuel and now the furnace won't run. It kicks on for about 10 seconds and shuts down. Have to use the manual reset button to try to get it to start again. Like I said, it was running good until this point. Out of ideas here.

Hi,

Have very little experience with oil furnaces, so will leave this here for others who do to try and help.

Can say though that you should not be using the reset to keep it going. Depending on the problem, that can lead to a serious problem.

Thanks,
Robert
