Hi Robert,
Repairman came and told me about wire colors from thermostat, and blower.

It sounded like a big, expensive job to fix it, so I can run just the blower.
I declined to pull furnace/blower apart.

Here's my question.
The two breakers in front are for blower and I assume heat.

Is there any reason I can't turn on furnace,
and then throw the breaker for the heat....leaving just the blower running for a while?
I'd like to circulate air into middle rooms, that the window AC's at end of home, don't reach. The furnace is at that end.

thank you.

Hi Barb,

Too much wired into breakers to do that and also flipping them on/off will wear them out sooner and could weaken them which is not good and a costly repair.

The steps and needs to get blower only running is cheap, about 15 minutes of work and as easy a task as there is is.

Find someone more qualified to handle this and resolve the issue.

How many wires are connected to your thermostat ?

Is there a green wire connected to thermostat G or is there a green wire there just not connecetd ?

If so and there should be, this is simple fix to handle, so don't understand his problem with it.

Thanks,
Robert
