I don't know which type of spray foam sealant/insulator to use, please help!
Do the walls expand and contract so much with the weather that I need to use the minimal expanding foam "designed to fill and seal gaps around windows and doors and anywhere buckling needs to be avoided. Cured foam dries to a flexible and soft consistency."
Or should I use the regular foam "expands to take the shape of cracks and voids, cured foam dries rigid."

Door & window foam is designed to be used around doors & windows to keep them from binding after the foam has dried. Regular foam can actually push the frames out of shape and make the bind up. Greg

I just want to let you know that when you use a can, use it all. Learned the hard $$$ way. I used the regular kind around the perimeter of a room where floors meet walls before I put down laminate floor. Then covered it with molding. I know it cut some drafts and it didn't cause bulges or racking. I used the door/window style around a new door a while back and that's when I found out about the clogging issue. But it is Great Stuff.
