hot water tank problem

ok we had to replace our hotwater tank and now the hot water doesnt have any water pressure and the water runs slower than the cold water does anyway to fix it?

If you have a shutoff valve at the tank I would start there. It sounds like there is a restriction On the hot water side, if the valve was closed to replace the tank, it may have come apart internally or not be fully open. If you end up replacing it, replace it with a BRASS (or stainless) Gate or Ball valve. Greg

Hi,

Remove all aerator screens from faucet spouts throughout home and allow water to run and flush lines.


IF that doesn't take care of it, probably have debris caught at a shutoff valve or 90* elbow in the hot water line.


Would have to disconnect and flush each until found.


IF it's just at one or certain faucets, check those, if at all hot water faucets, then look closely at a shut off or elbow at hot water line section between water heater and first/nearest faucet.
